Day 05 Dana Nature reserve- petra

    is the largest nature reserve in Jordan, covering over 300 square kilometers and all four different bio-geographical zones of the Kingdom, There is a wide variety of hiking trails, from short one hour circuits to full day- hikes requiring an overnight in camps.
    Dana village occupies a wonderful site looking out over Wadi Dana and is now gradually coming back to life with the jobs associated with the Reserve. One of the first measures taken by the RSCN was to install a reliable water supply, and the fruit that can now be produced locally is made into jams which are sold at the Reserve shop, together with soap made with the local olive oil. Medicinal herbs, also grown in the valley, are to be found on sale here, as well as silver jewellery made in the workshop nearby. Tourism revenue is reported to be covering all the running costs of the reserve.

    To explore the spectacular treasures of Petra (The Red -Rose city half as old as time), enter through the impressive narrow gorge (Siq), leads marvelously to the magical monument, when you can glimpse the Treasury, continue to the street of facades, the Royal Tombs, the Cardo, Temples, Churches, Museums,…etc

Day 07 Petra – Beidha – Wadi Rum

Lawrence based their headquarters during the Arab Revolution against the Ottomans in the World War I, their exploits intrinsically woven into the history of this amazing area. There are many monuments in Wadi Rum you can see such as; Lawrence spring , Khazali Siq , Sand Dunes , Thamodic inscription , Burdah Bridge ,…etc .

Day 08 Wadi Rum

  • Breakfast at the camp .
  • Half or Full day trekking in Wadi Rum with local Bedouin guide .
  • Possibility for Camel & Hors rid , Hot balloon , ULM tour ….. etc .
  • Back to the camp for Dinner & overnight.

There are many excellent opportunities for unusual treks, these will take you down virtually unexplored canyons , or Siqs where ancient Thamudic inscriptions and drawings are carved into the rocks. Back to the Bedouin camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 09 Wadi Rum – Dead Sea - Amman

  • Breakfast at the camp.
  • Transfer to the Dead Sea for swimming and floating . About Dead Sea

Day 10 Amman – QAIA

  • Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.
